Massimo Vignelli
Poster Tribute

Massimo Vignelli is regarded one of the greatest designers of the last century and even today, almost one year after his death he is a constant inspiration to the creative community. Massimo Vignelli is a reference for me, so I wanted to design a poster with a minimalist approach in tribute to him.
The basis of his work was a conventional typography and the use of the grid. So the idea was to use a grid system to make his initials (M & V) appear. The ’31' illustrate the date he was born but I haven't used the date of death because his work will last forever.
